Chief Marketing Officer

This is a remote position. Fanfix is a fast-growing, creator-focused startup aimed at empowering content creators to monetize their work through an exclusive content and subscription platform. We are seeking a dynamic, scrappy, and experienced Chief Marketing Officer with a proven track record in performance and brand marketing with a history of achieving high Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS). Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and monitoring a comprehensive marketing strategy that enhances brand awareness, drives customer growth, and aligns with our company's strategic goals. Specialize in performance marketing, with a focus on maximizing ROAS across a diverse range of channels. Manage brand activations to build a unique brand identity and oversee all promotional and marketing campaigns. Design and oversee effective paid advertising campaigns, with a focus on high ROAS channels like Facebook, Instagram, SEO, podcast, and influencer marketing. Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated marketing team, including a social media manager. Establish, nurture, and manage relationships with external marketing and advertising agencies. Track, analyze, and report marketing metrics to gauge success, guide future strategies, and optimize ROAS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure marketing strategies meet their needs. Stay current on the latest trends in the creator economy and digital marketing landscape.

Qualifications include proven experience as a CMO or similar leadership role in a consumer, start-up, or creator-focused company, with a strong emphasis on performance marketing. Exceptional knowledge and experience in maximizing ROAS across a variety of marketing and advertising channels. Comprehensive understanding of various marketing and sales touchpoints. Hands-on experience with digital marketing tools and techniques, including SEO, PPC, social media platforms, and more. Strong knowledge of web analytics, with the ability to derive meaningful insights for business improvement. Exceptional team management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and presentation skills. A visionary leader with a creative mind and data-driven approach.

Location: US Remote - Home Office (NYC, NY or Los Angeles, CA) Benefits include paid holidays and sick leave, employee discounts on product, dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, vision insurance. The pay range for this role is between $200,000 - $250,000. Actual pay within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including your residence location and prior work experience. Equity, benefits, and a discretionary bonus may be additional forms of compensation for this role and are not included in the provided pay range.
